慶祝中華人民共和國成立50周年連體紀(jì)念鈔有3張未裁切50周年紀(jì)念鈔構(gòu)成，是中華人民共和國的法寶貨幣。它是我國第一套連體鈔，主題鮮明，寓意深刻，技術(shù)高超，代表了當(dāng)時我國鈔票設(shè)計和印制的最高水平。該鈔第一次采用昂貴變色油墨：票面正面右下角的“50”首次采用變色油墨印制，正面觀察時為綠色，側(cè)看時為藍(lán)色，故印鈔成本奇高。該鈔第一次單獨使用行長之章：中國人民銀行建行50多年來所發(fā)行的全部鈔票，票面官印均為“行長”及“副行長”兩個，這次紀(jì)念鈔第一次只用行長，體現(xiàn)了行長負(fù)責(zé)制的政體。該鈔無論是從集藏的趣味性還是欣賞、研究、投資等角度來看都具有相當(dāng)高的價值，發(fā)行量5萬套。
